JERR

JERR is the newest site i have joined and is the thrid i currently review for. They update very two weeks, and send out a newsletter with every update. I look forward to reviewing for this unusual and unique review site.

The rating systems for JERR are as follows:

One Star - The reviewer did not enjoy this book
Two Stars - The reviewer found this book readable
Three Stars - This book held the readers interest and was enjoyable, though with faults.
Four Stars - The reviewer found this book to be engrossing and arousing.
Five Stars - The reviewer found this book to have engaged all her reading senses. Well written, arousing, with well developed characters and plot line. There were no faults with this story, and considers it definitely worth re reading.

GOLD and SILVER STAR REVIEWS: This category is reserved for exceptional books (Gold for longer length. Silver for shorter length). The ones the reviewer feels she won't forget because of its exceptional quality. It engaged the senses in a way that she became the story, that she couldn't lay it down and would return time and again. These books are the best of the best.

NOVELSPOT

Novelspot is a fabulous review site. I don't think i is that well known, but it is starting to make a name for itself.There is tonnes on the website. Take a look and see for yourself. It's much more than reviews. There are contests, the ability to comment, columns...You can become a member of the site or go online as a guest, either way be sure to make Novelspot one of your regular stops. They don't update X times a month like FAR or EIR, rather reviews are posted any time of the month by the reviewer, after they have gone through edits.

Their rating system is completely different to any of the other sites. It is as follows:

10 Quills: What an amazing book! This book is perfect. It made me laugh, cry, leap through emotional hoops. It's changed my life, I tell you. You MUST read this.

9 Quills: This is a great read. Fantastic. It may not be life altering, but you wouldn't notice, because you're having such a great time reading it. Kudos to the author.

8 Quills: This book was really good. It's different for its genre but that's why I liked it. Don't miss this read.

7 Quills: A very good book. A fine example of its genre with perhaps only a single element missing to take it to the realms of the immortals. I would highly recommend this book.

6 Quills: Want to read a good book? I figured or you wouldn't be here. This is a good representation of its genre, fun to read, enjoyable, but it doesn't quite have the oomph to take it to that next level. Still, I'd recommend reading it, if you like this genre.

5 Quills: A decent book. It brings nothing new to the table, but it was a good read. Sure it has a couple of inconsistencies, but I liked it enough to ignore them. If you like this genre, consider reading this book.

4 Quills: This book has a major flaw that prevents me from enjoying it. I can't in good conscience recommend it, though others may not be put off by quite the same elements.

3 Quills: This book is not recommended. The errors in it would prevent just about anyone from enjoying it.

2 Quills: This book is not recommended. This book is so flawed that it was almost painful to read.

1 Quill: There is nothing to recommend this book at all. Not one thing. I'd rather read the side panel of a box of cereal.

ENCHANTED IN ROMANCE

This particular site was the fourth review site i joined. I was looking for a review site with rules somewhat more relaxed than the other sites, to get a broader spectrum under my belt - plus the increased opportunity to get some really great reads *grin*. With FAR you need to be really quick off the mark to pick up the titles you desire, as there are quite a few members on staff. Enchanted In Romance suited my needs perfectly, and i had a great time reviewing for them.

The rating system for Enchanted In Romance is as follows:

1 Unicorn - Very Poor Book
2 Unicorns - OK Book
3 Unicorns - Good Book
4 Unicorns - Very Good Book
5 Unicorns - Excellent Book
Half Unicorns are also used.

EURO REVIEWS

Euro Reviews was the very first review site i signed up to so for that reason it is quite special in my heart, even though i am no longer reviewing for them.

This review site has a goal. Not just to bring brilliant reviews to readers, but to increase awareness of e-books in countries where the industry has not yet taken off. I think this is very admirable, and i hope you will support this site by regularly visiting and checking the new posts.
